Contents, packaging and bonuses
Original Soundtrack: Nintendo Switch version music only, 2 CDs, 61 tracks.
Original Sound Box: Switch version (2 CDs, 61 tracks) plus Super Famicom version (2 CDs, 61 tracks, remastered from the 1996 release PSCN-5047-8), a separate booklet with track commentary by Yoko Shimomura, and a storage box.
Original Sound Vinyl Box: 4 × 12-inch LPs at 33 1/3 rpm of the Nintendo Switch-version arrangements, 61 tracks over eight sides, each side named after a character (Mario, Toad, Mallow, Frog Sage, Geno, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi).
The Vinyl Box special page notes that “Long Long Ago…” (side 5, track 1) uses the same master as the Super Famicom version; the rest are the Switch arrangements.
None of the three is labelled first-press limited on the official pages.
