FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Original Soundtrack: 3 Editions Compared
ファイナルファンタジーVII リバース オリジナル・サウンドトラック
The Japanese CD soundtrack for FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH was released in two editions on the same day — a first-press limited “Special edit version” and a regular edition — followed two years later by a separate “Plus” volume with music not on either set.

Store Bonuses
Early-purchase bonuses at launch (either edition, while supplies lasted): Amazon.co.jp 2-piece mega jacket; Square Enix e-STORE, Tower Records, Yodobashi, Rakuten Books, Animate and other stores each a different mini memo pad. Launch-period campaign; likely ended.

Amazon.co.jp mega jacket (early-purchase bonus, sold as separate with/without-bonus listings)
The Special edit version (SQEX-11102~9) has 8 CDs: the same 7 main discs as the regular edition plus a bonus disc of mini-game music, for 209 tracks against 175.
The Special edit version comes in a box modelled on the Buster Sword and is a first-press limited production (初回生産限定盤); the regular edition (SQEX-11110~6) is the ongoing 7-CD set.
Launch store bonuses (mini memo pads, Amazon mega jacket) applied to either edition and were first-come, first-served — they are not part of either catalog number.
Original Soundtrack Plus (SQEX-11230~4, 2026) is not a repackage: its 133 tracks are in-game music not included on the earlier sets. It is listed here because it completes the family.
Catalog numbers for these three releases are taken from the product identifiers on Square Enix's official lineup and e-STORE pages.
First-press bonuses are not tied to the catalog number. Japanese retailers usually keep selling the later, bonus-free pressing under the same catalog number once the first press runs out. Check the retailer's item page for the current status before ordering. Read the First Press Guide →
